About this route
Makarska → Orebić
Orebić lies on the southern shore of the Pelješac peninsula, separated from Korčula island by a narrow channel you could almost swim across. It’s the departure point for one of the shortest ferry crossings on the coast — 15 minutes to Korčula Town — and the gateway to Pelješac’s wine country, where south-facing hillside vineyards produce Dingač and Postup, two of Croatia’s finest red wines.
Our speedboat departs Makarska harbour and follows the coast south-east, crossing the open water of the Neretva channel before rounding into the Pelješac channel and arriving at Orebić. The crossing takes around 1 hour 40 minutes and passes some of the least-visited coastline between the two riviera towns — sea-carved cliffs, small coves, and the occasional fishing village with no road access.
This transfer suits guests whose itinerary combines the Makarska Riviera with Pelješac or Korčula — either as a one-way transfer heading further south, or as a day excursion for wine touring and an afternoon in Korčula Town. All transfers are private, with the departure time and route planned around your schedule.
