Dubrovnik
The Pearl of the Adriatic — arrive by sea for the most breathtaking first impression
Why visit
Why Dubrovnik by Boat?
Dubrovnik needs no introduction. The sight of its massive limestone walls rising from the Adriatic is one of the most stunning in all of Europe. Arriving by speedboat — watching the old town emerge from the sea — is an experience that simply cannot be replicated on the road. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved medieval walled cities in the world. Our Dubrovnik transfer takes approximately 3 hours from Makarska, skirting the Pelješac Peninsula along a stretch of coastline that itself is extraordinarily beautiful.

FAQ
Dubrovnik — Frequently Asked Questions
Given the 3-hour journey each way, Dubrovnik is best done as a one-way transfer (we drop you off and you return by bus or plane) or as a multi-day trip. It is not practical as a same-day return by boat.
The sea approach to Dubrovnik is one of the most spectacular views in Europe — watching the ancient walls and Old Town emerge from the water is something the road simply cannot offer. During peak season, the road to Dubrovnik is heavily congested, making the boat journey not just more scenic, but faster and far more enjoyable.
Absolutely. We regularly do one-way transfers where guests are continuing onwards by plane, bus, or cruise ship. Just let us know your onward plans when booking.
