Pakleni Islands
A labyrinth of pine-covered islets, turquoise bays and beach bars — just off Hvar
Why visit
Why Pakleni Islands by Boat?
The Pakleni Islands (Paklinski otoci) are a chain of 16 small islets stretching west of Hvar Town. Despite being minutes from one of Croatia's busiest destinations, the Pakleni Islands feel like a world apart — pine-scented coves, crystal-clear shallow water, and a scattering of legendary beach bars and restaurants that have made them a byword for Adriatic glamour. The most famous spots are Palmižana (with its botanical garden and beach restaurant), Stipanska (wild and quiet), and Vlaka bay. Our boats navigate this labyrinth with ease and can anchor in spots that larger vessels simply cannot reach.

Absolutely. The water clarity here is exceptional. We carry snorkelling equipment on all tours and can anchor in the most scenic spots.
This is our most popular combination. We spend the morning swimming in the islands and arrive in Hvar Town around midday for lunch, before returning to Makarska in the afternoon.
