Red Rocks & Southern Shore of Hvar Island

The Red Rocks found on the south shore of the island of Hvar, are a rare natural phenomenon of red-colored limestone cliffs that steeply drop into the sea below. On the right side of The Red Rocks, you will find a small cave with a pebble beach at its end. On the left, you will find a spot where, if you feel brave enough, you can climb up the rocks and jump into the turquoise water from a height of 2 meters (6,7 ft) up to 15 meters (49 ft).

 

Dubovica beach (or Dubovica bay) is a secluded beach on the south shore of Hvar Island. Being located in a magical secluded bay with a large pebble beach and surrounded by pine trees and olive groves, Dubovica is considered the most beautiful beach on the entire island of Hvar. A 17th-century noble house lies right beside this picturesque pebble beach. You can also find a hidden cave called Dubova špilja and swim your way into it for a bit of adventurous kick.

 

Beach Malo Zaraće is one of the lesser-known spots on the island of Hvar, but no less beautiful. While not as popular as some of the other beaches on and around Hvar Island, it is one of the most relaxing and pristine. The beach is recognizable for its distinct massive rock formation that juts out into the sea and creates an intimate cove. Beach Malo Zaraće is a pretty small one and doesn't bring the crowds, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the unspoiled nature surrounding it.

 

It is not without a reason that town Hvar is Croatia's busiest island destination.
